The easiest way to get to our office from Dayton is to take 233 South to 18 West. From there, you’ll follow 18 West and take the exit towards McMinnville. Stay in the right-hand lane so you can continue onto Southeast Three Mile Lane. The rest is simple; turn left onto Southeast 1st Street, then right onto Northeast Evans Street. We’ll be on your right, between Campbell Dermatology & Aesthetics and the McMinnville Community Center. Dentists must all meet specific criteria to become licensed to work with patients. For example, they usually must earn a bachelor’s degree in a related field before achieving either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) advanced degree from one of the 70+ institutions that are accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA). Then, they can choose to undergo in-depth training to focus on one or more of the 12 officially recognized specialty topics.
At our office near St. Joseph, Dr. Ramsay completed her undergraduate degree at Portland State University and then earned her degree in General Dentistry at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. She remains committed to continuing education and is one of the few providers in Oregon to train in gum recession with Dr. Chao, the inventor of the Pinhole® Surgical Technique.
Dr. Ramsay and the rest of our team understand that many people get anxious about sitting in the dentist’s chair, and we will do everything we can to help you feel calm and comfortable throughout your visit.
For example, in addition to numbing your mouth with a local anesthetic to prevent pain, we also offer multiple options for dental sedation, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious medication as a prescription pill, and IV sedation that’s administered directly into the bloodstream. That way, if one option doesn’t work for whatever reason, you can hopefully benefit from another.
The cost of dental care can add up quickly, but dental insurance can be an effective way to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for everything from routine checkups and cleanings to more complex procedures. Our office near St. Joseph accepts most major insurance providers and we are happy to file claims on your behalf.
However, we also understand that not all patients carry a policy, and we don’t want your current financial circumstances to prevent you from receiving quality services. That’s why we also gladly welcome flexible payment plans through CareCredit, which allow you to divide your total invoice into more manageable installments, often for little to no interest.
